Ecycle Solutions Sponsors Planet Ark’s Recycling Programs
Oct. 03, 2018
Ecycle Solutions is excited to announce their newest sponsorship of Planet Ark’s Recycling Near You and Business Recycling programs.
“It is with great pleasure Ecycle Solutions is sponsoring Planet Ark’s ‘Recycling Near You and Business Recycling’ programs,” said Chris Tangey, General Manager of Ecycle Solutions.
“It is a great opportunity for both organisations to increase the reach across Australia for the collection and recycling of ewaste and polystyrene.”
Reducing the amount of expanded polystyrene waste heading to landfill is a priority concern for many businesses and councils as the Australian Packaging Covenant mandates to remove packaging waste from landfill by 2025.
This new two-year sponsorship will see businesses turning to Planet Ark for a solution to find an efficient recycling service that can save them up to 70% on waste removal costs.
Ecycle Solutions also provides a free recycling service of televisions, computers, computer peripherals and printers.
“As a Co-Regulator of the Federal Government’s National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme, we will work with Planet Ark to support recycling outcomes and divert these problematic waste streams from landfill into re-useable materials,” said Tangey.
Local ewaste drop off points are now listed as part of Planet Ark’s Recycling Near You program, enabling the general public and small businesses to responsibly recycle their end-of-life electronic waste at one of more than 150 locations across Australia.
“Providing comprehensive and compliant recycling solutions for electronics and expanded polystyrene, Ecycle Solutions has become a crucial part of the collection and recycling picture in Australia,” said Rebecca Gilling, Deputy CEO of Planet Ark.
“Planet Ark is thrilled to have the support of Ecycle Solutions as a sponsor of Recycling Near You and Business Recycling. We look forward to working with its team to improve recycling rates across these important product categories.”
Ecycle Solutions looks forward to assisting Planet Ark’s network and audience with an easy and reliable recycling service for expanded polystyrene and ewaste.
