How We Can Help with Your EPS
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is becoming a growing concern for many businesses, with increasing volumes of waste placing pressure on storage, handling, and disposal processes. While EPS is lightweight, its bulk takes up valuable space in bins and skips—often leading to hidden waste disposal costs.
At Ecycle Solutions, we offer a simple, sustainable solution for managing EPS waste. Our collection and recycling program is designed to make the process seamless, so businesses can focus on what they do best—while knowing they’re recycling responsibly.
For businesses generating large volumes of EPS, we offer tailored solutions that can deliver long-term cost savings and help reduce environmental impact. And if you’re already processing EPS on-site, we can collect it and provide competitive market rates.

What is EPS?
EPS is a lightweight, rigid foam composed of 98% air and 2% plastic, widely used to protect electronics, appliances, and other fragile items during transportation. It offers excellent insulation and shock absorption, making it a popular choice in packaging across many industries.
Although light in weight, EPS can take up a significant amount of space in general waste bins, leading to hidden disposal costs and logistical inefficiencies for businesses.
At Ecycle Solutions, we make EPS recycling easy. Our tailored collection and recycling service helps businesses remove, process, and repurpose EPS waste efficiently—transforming it into reusable material for products like skirting boards, outdoor furniture, and decking. It’s a practical solution that supports sustainability goals while delivering real cost savings.
How is EPS recycled?
Very easily—thanks to Ecycle Solutions’ innovative EPS recycling program.
We provide new customers with a FREE EPS collection frame, designed to hold the collection bag in place securely. Once full, the EPS waste is collected and transported to our national network of in-house processing facilities, where it is recycled using specialised hot-melt technology. This efficient solution can reduce disposal costs by up to 70% compared to landfill, where EPS can pose a significant environmental challenge.
Our hot-melt technology compacts EPS to approximately 2% of its original size, making storage, transport, and processing highly efficient.
The recycled EPS is then repurposed into new, durable products such as picture frames, skirting boards, outdoor furniture, and decking—supporting a circular economy and helping preserve valuable natural resources.
